Update in Acer Care Center does not run. Network setting are configured correctly?
I open Acer Care Center and it all works but the Update wiindow. I get the following meassage "Please make sure your network settings are configured correctly and try again". I can open the internet no problem. So where do I go to configure the settings so that Acer Care Center Updates work?

From what google has told me... Acer owns the old brand/company eMashine...
I'm about to reinstall my mothers eMashine e732Z, are the drivers on the site bellow the latest available?

ACER ASPIRE V5-471P 6467 left hinge broken issue
I have got same problem, Left hinge is not working. Cover split near left hinge. I am in whitefield, Bangalore and clueless what should I do. I bought ACER ASPIRE V5-471P 6467 2.5 years back. I was happy except space bar in keyborad.
I found many-many people have similar left hinge issue. Can Acer will help fix this problem in Bangalore , India? Will Acer fix this for me same day without any cost?

Noisy fan - 5755G -> new fan or new laptop ?
Hello,
I have some problems recently with my laptop, the 5755G. The fan got really noisy a week ago so I decided to open it and I have to admit I was quite surprised because there was not so much dust in it. Then I cleaned it with an air spray and removed a bit of dust. Nothing changed... Even when I'm not using it the fan can start loudly and then stop 10 minutes later.
According to Speedfan, GPU = 45C HD0= 37C Core0=Core1=53 with only a few things opened on Chrome.
Well my question is whether I have to buy another laptop but that would suck because it's only a noise problem or if I could change the settings of my fan, or if it could be useful to buy a new one and to install it by myself (which I could do if that would solve the noise)

BtvStack.exe - System Error
I have Aspire 5750G with windows server 2012 r2 installed as standalone OS. It comes with bthprops.cpl missing error when reboots. I once forced shut down the machine and I think this error is coming ever since. Here is a snapshot of the errror.
I find BtvStack.exe at C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm Atheros\Bluetooth Suite but it does not execute (as it happens). I read somewhere that it is a bluetooth error (blah blah) but i cannot find any bluetooth icon in tray or in device manager where we see drivers for many hardware.
I have run sfc /scannow command and microsoft windows malacious software removal tool but nothing good.
Registry Editor is showing the following situation.

Acer with Windows 10 cannot enable F12 Boot Menu Feature. Cannot remember password!
Let me first say that I have no idea what model of Acer my laptop is. Most of the stickers on the bottom have been worn out, so I don't think I will be able to find out.
My problem is that I forgot my password (local, not my Microsoft Account) and every method for bypassing the password that I have read online involves booting something from a USB or CD. After researching how to boot from USB, I discovered that it is possible that my laptop cannot enable F12 Boot Menu Feature, as seen in the picture at the bottom.
Nowhere does it say what to do if this is the case, and as such I am left to feebly present my dilemma to you guys. Please present a solution that does not involve me taking my laptop to tech support. I want to keep that as my last option and only if there is literally no way to fix my problem.

İ have a 8 years old Acer5920g and having same problem with most of 5920g users . My gpu's is dead . Probably because its chronic solder problem . İ dont what is my motherboard right now . İ dont know if gpu is seperated or onboard . My first question is from here . Can i get if its seperated or onboard by its model name ?
Now second question . Lets assume it is onboard and i cannot change only gpu . Can i buy a new random mb and another random gpu something like ... lets say 8600m gt and can those two run fine my old laptop ?
Last question . İf i buy the same model can i change new ones part with old one ? İf i buy another model of 5920g can i change new ones part with old one ?

video cable connection to the lcd screen on my acer aspire 5742
I am having trouble making this connection after changing screens. I don't want to damage anything. For the life of me I cannot find a way to make this male-female connection, if it is one. So my question is: Is the tape there because the cables don't actually interlock and the cable just sits on top of the lcd input held in place by tape?

Wiped window 8.1 off my Aspire One, no bootable recovery backup, no D2D option in BIOS to access
My Aspire One 725-0687 with Windows 8.1 was stuck in an infinite "update failed to install...removing updates...do not turn off computer" loop for 48 hours before I turned off the computer in utter disgust with Windows. I tried everything in the blue screen troubleshooting window: refresh, restore, diagnose and repair, etc. I encountered an "error resfreshing," "error restoring," error repairing," and nothing was working to get me back into Windows. I tried rebooting in Safe Mode and even that would not work. Now the computer says "performing automatic repair" when rebooting and that's the current infinite loop. I have no external recovery media to boot from to reinstall the OS on what appears to be a now reformatted, blank drive.
I tried to access the hidden recovery partition but that also won't work because there is no D2D option in BIOS.
Please do not advise me to try Alt-F10 and all the other hot key configurations because none of those work either.
I read on another website that the only thing I can do is to download the Acer eRecovery Management software and use that to restore from the hidden partition; however, that software does not appear available, at least not for free.
I refuse to pay for something I did not cause! That's just plain wrong!
Any advice out there?? Thanks in advance.
